SwiftReporter report purchase and credits

SwiftReporter supports both subscription plans and individual report credits for generating downloadable PDF reports. This page explains how watermark-free downloads and sharing work, and how credits are used.

Subscription vs Individual Reports

A watermark-free PDF and sharing that report require one of the following:

  • Active or trial subscription that includes reports: All-in-One or All-in-One Trial, or an existing Basic or Pro plan. Watermark-free downloads and sharing do not use report credits.
  • Per-report credits: If you do not have that subscription, purchase report credits. Click Use 1 Credit to unlock that inspection.
  • Already unlocked: After a credit has been used for an inspection, regenerating or editing that report does not use another credit.

Creating a new inspection does not copy unlock from another inspection. Inspections you already unlocked stay unlocked. New inspections need a credit or a qualifying subscription.

A Paid invoice or Paid badge on the inspection means your client paid you for the job. It does not remove the watermark and does not unlock sharing.

Downloading a Report

From the inspection details page, the Download PDF button starts report generation. SwiftReporter then follows these rules:

  • If you have an active or trial reports subscription, the PDF is generated without using credits.
  • If a credit has already been used for this inspection, the PDF is generated without using another credit.
  • If you have credits and the inspection is not already unlocked, the Report Payment Required modal opens. Click Use 1 Credit (N remaining after) for a watermark-free PDF, or Download with Watermark (Free) for a preview.
  • If you do not have credits or a qualifying subscription, the same modal offers Subscribe for Unlimited Reports, Purchase More Report Credits (or Purchase Report Credits on mobile when you have no credits), and Download with Watermark (Free).

Watermarked PDFs display UNPAID REPORT (web) or UNPAID (mobile) across all pages. A watermarked download is a preview, not a substitute for a credit-unlocked or subscription-covered export.

iPhone: The app does not ask you to pay in the app. You can still download a PDF; it may include a watermark until you use a credit or subscribe on the web at app.swiftreporter.com.

Purchasing Report Credits

You can purchase additional report credits from the Purchase Reports screen:

  1. Navigate to Account > Purchase Reports.
  2. Choose quantity: Select the number of reports you want to buy.
  3. Complete checkout: You are redirected to Stripe to complete payment securely. Stripe promotion and discount codes are accepted on this checkout, and on subscription and seat checkouts.
  4. Return to SwiftReporter: After checkout, your report credit balance is updated and can be applied to future downloads.

Each report credit unlocks one inspection for watermark-free PDF downloads and for sharing. New inspections do not inherit that unlock.

Managing Your Subscription

Use the Manage Subscription screen to view current subscription status, see renewal or expiration dates, and open the Stripe Customer Portal to update payment details, view invoices, or change your plan.

If your subscription is set to cancel at the end of the period, the app shows a note so you know when access will change. You can still use report credits after your subscription ends. See Managing Your Subscription for trial, billing, and account-management details.
