Account Settings
The Account Settings page is where you manage your subscription, notification preferences, and payment setup (Stripe), along with a few important account actions.
Subscription and billing
- Check your tier and status: You can see whether you are on Free (PAYG), Back of House, Basic Unlimited, or Pro Unlimited, and whether your subscription is active, trialing, or set to cancel.
- Manage Subscription: Use this when you want to update payment details, cancel, or change your subscription.
- Purchase more report credits: If you are on a pay-as-you-go tier, you can buy additional report credits.
Back of House (Business Suite)
Back of House unlocks Appointments, Contacts, Contract Templates, and Invoices. If you are on a trial, the page shows when it ends and how many days are left.
Theme preference
Choose Light, Dark, or System. If you select System, SwiftReporter follows your device’s theme setting.
Notifications
Notifications are organized into four categories. Each category lets you choose which roles receive messages and which channels are used.
Notification categories
- Appointment reminders: messages sent before an appointment (for example 24h, 2h, 30m).
- Appointment updates: confirmations, reschedule notices, and cancellations.
- Payment notifications: invoices sent, payment received, and payment-required alerts (when enabled).
- Contract notifications: contract sent reminders and signing status updates.
Roles and channels
- Roles: Primary customer, additional customer, agent, seller, other, and inspector.
- Email: sends to the contact’s email address.
- SMS: sends to the contact’s phone number (if enabled for your account).
- Push: sends a mobile push notification to the inspector (your device).
Custom reminder times
You can add your own reminder timing by entering a number of minutes and clicking Add. This is useful if you prefer reminders like “90 minutes before” or “3 hours before.”
Invoices and payments (Stripe Connect)
To accept payments, you must link a Stripe account using Stripe Connect.
- In the Invoices section, click the button to start Stripe onboarding.
- Complete Stripe’s steps (business details, identity verification, and payout account).
- When finished, your Stripe status will show as enabled (or “needs info” if Stripe requires additional details).
Important: Your profile must include an address before connecting Stripe.
Default payment policy
After connecting Stripe, set your default policy so SwiftReporter knows when payment is due. Common options include:
- Pay in full when booked
- Deposit now, balance later
- Require payment before start
You can also enable:
- Require payment before work starts (helps prevent day-of payment issues)
- Require payment before releasing the report (customers won’t be able to download the report until paid)
Integrations (Square)
If you use Square, you can connect it here and choose the location, team member, and which Square services should appear as inspection appointments. Note: Square scheduling and SwiftReporter scheduling are mutually exclusive.
Account actions
- Edit Profile: update business details that appear on reports (name, address, phone, email, logo).
- Change Password: update your login password.
- Advanced → Delete Account: permanently deletes your account (this can require canceling an active subscription first).
- Log Out: signs out on this device.
Troubleshooting
- Stripe connect button is blocked: add your business address in Edit Profile first.
- Not seeing Appointments/Contacts/Invoices: verify you have Back of House access.
- Contacts not receiving messages: confirm the role and channels are enabled for the right notification category.
