Logging In
Once you have created an account and verified your email, you can log in to access SwiftReporter.
Logging in on the website (web)
On app.swiftreporter.com, use a valid email and password on every sign-in attempt. When Google reCAPTCHA is required, complete the challenge when the site asks for it, then click Log In. Sign-in succeeds only after server-side checks accept your credentials and any required verification; you cannot bypass those checks from the browser. Missing credentials or failed verification shows a clear error so you can correct the problem and try again. If you are waiting on email verification and tap Resend verification email, the site may show a try again later message when too many emails were requested in a short window — wait a few minutes and retry.
Basic Login Process
- Open the App: Launch SwiftReporter on your device
- Enter Credentials: On the login screen, you'll see input fields for:
- Email: Enter your registered email address
- Password: Enter your password (with an eye icon to toggle visibility)
- Tap "Log In": Press the blue "Log In" button to authenticate
Additional Login Options
Biometric Login
If you have previously logged in and enabled biometric authentication:
- A "Login with Biometrics" button will appear below the main login button
- This option only appears if:
- Your device supports biometrics (fingerprint/face recognition)
- You have biometric authentication enrolled on your device
- You have previously logged in with email/password to store credentials
- Tap this button to authenticate using your device's biometric scanner
Sign Up
If you don't have an account yet:
- Tap the "Sign Up" button below the login options
- This will take you to the account creation screen
Forgot Password
If you've forgotten your password:
- Enter your email address in the Email field
- Tap the "Forgot Password?" button at the bottom of the screen
- You'll receive an email with instructions to reset your password
- The system will show different error messages for:
- Invalid email addresses
- Email addresses not found in the system
Troubleshooting
⚠️ Note: You must verify your email address before you can log in. Check your email for a verification link after signing up.
💡 Tip: The app will remember your biometric preferences and stored credentials between sessions for faster future logins.
