1.10.0 - Smarter Comment Search and Template Polish · June 25, 2026
Find comments faster with partial search, plus template editor reliability fixes
Version 1.10.0 makes the comments library much easier to search on large libraries, fixes a frustrating Template Settings typing bug on custom severity labels, and polishes template-editor scrolling on web.
Changed
- Smarter comment library search — Search now uses partial, multi-term matching across title, description, recommendation, and section names, so abbreviated out-of-order queries like
ext rail lowcan find the right comment even when the words are spread across the title and category. When you enter search text, SwiftReporter scans your full accessible library before paginating results, so matches are not hidden behind the first browse page. - Comment search on mobile — The mobile comment list and in-inspection comment pickers use the same partial matching, so inspectors get consistent search behavior in the field.
- View Report navigation — Table-of-contents and deep-link scrolling on the read-only report viewer now lands more reliably on the target section, category, subcategory, or observation.
Fixed
- Custom severity label inputs — Renaming Low, Medium, and High display names in Template Settings no longer scrambles or drops characters when you type quickly. The three label fields save after a brief pause (matching template title and description), and switching templates reloads the correct saved labels.
- Template editor scroll after add — Adding a new section or category on the Templates page now scrolls the page so the new row is visible above the add controls instead of leaving it off-screen.
- Polish and reliability improvements across comment search, template settings, and the report viewer.
This release is a focused quality pass — especially for teams with large comment libraries who search by shorthand or section abbreviations during inspections.
