1.13.0 - AI Report Assist and HomeGauge Import · July 25, 2026
Talk your way through an inspection, then review every suggestion before it reaches the report
AI Report Assist lets you capture spoken findings and photos as you walk the property, then turn them into drafted observations you approve one at a time. This release also brings HomeGauge template import, so switching software no longer means rebuilding your library by hand.
Added
- AI Report Assist — Start a capture session on an inspection, dictate findings with audio or video, and add photos as you go. When you are ready, run Analyze session and SwiftReporter drafts observations from what you captured — matching your existing comment library first and writing a summary when there is no match. Nothing reaches your report until you approve it.
- Assist review queue — Work through drafted findings one at a time with full editing: adjust the wording, set category, subcategory, severity, and location, and assign the photos and videos that belong to each finding. Approve writes the observation; reject discards it.
- AI Assist Bulk Upload — Upload a batch of videos and photos straight from your device and let Assist draft observations from the whole set instead of processing clips one by one.
- HomeGauge template import — Upload a HomeGauge
.ht5file to create a SwiftReporter template along with its full comment library. Report sections, categories, subcategories, condition checkboxes, dropdowns, notes, and defect comments all carry across. - Inspections card on the mobile home screen — Jump straight to your inspections list without opening the menu.
Changed
- Quote Calculator on mobile — Now available to every signed-in inspector. It opens instantly with sensible defaults while your saved rate profiles load in the background.
- Multi-shot web camera — Capturing photos for an observation, question, or note now keeps the camera open so you can take several shots in a row and add them all at once. Cover photos remain a single shot.
- Android photo library access — Picking existing photos and videos now uses the Android system photo picker, so SwiftReporter no longer needs broad access to your entire media library.
- Square Appointments integration removed — SwiftReporter Appointments is now the single scheduling path. Existing appointments and scheduling settings inside SwiftReporter are unaffected.
Fixed
- Echo while recording video on web — The live preview is now muted during recording, so narrating a clip no longer produces feedback through your speakers.
- Checkbox answers on shared reports — Answers saved by older versions of the app now display correctly in shared and published reports instead of failing to render.
- Mobile menu scrolling — The sidebar scrolls when there are more menu items than fit on screen.
- Polish and reliability improvements across dictation, media upload, and the template import flows.
This release is about getting findings out of your head and into the report faster — while keeping you the one who decides what the report actually says.
