1.9.0 - iPhone Photo Support and Polish
iPhone HEIC photos in PDF reports, plus a round of reliability fixes
Version 1.9.0 makes iPhone photos a first-class citizen in PDF reports and ships a broad set of behind-the-scenes reliability and security improvements so inspections, photos, and notifications keep flowing on big jobs.
Added
- iPhone (HEIC/HEIF) Photo Support in PDF Reports — Photos taken in Apple's default HEIC/HEIF format on modern iPhones are now automatically converted to JPEG when the PDF report is generated, so iPhone-shot photos render correctly in the final report instead of appearing missing or broken.
Fixed
- More reliable photo pipeline — Strengthened the upload-to-PDF photo pipeline so iPhone photos and large image batches process more consistently end-to-end.
- Steadier audio uploads and transcription — Audio recordings handle slow or congested connections more gracefully, and failed transcription state is now preserved so retries pick up cleanly instead of silently dropping work.
- Smarter customer enrichment on appointments — Appointments now resolve every linked customer even on busy days, instead of cutting off after a fixed limit.
- Sturdier Square integrations — Square sign-in and bookings recover faster when tokens expire, with safer error handling so a single bad token no longer stalls the integration.
- Polish and reliability improvements across the inspection editor, PDF generation, notifications, and Google Drive media imports.
This release is mostly a quality and trust pass — iPhone photos that "just work" in PDFs, plus the kind of fixes you don't notice because nothing breaks.
