Once you have finalised your inspection report by reviewing and editing its contents (Viewing the Report and Editing the Report), you can download it as a file for sharing or archiving.
Steps to Download
1. Navigate to the Report:
Open the specific report you wish to download within the SwiftReporter app.
2. Locate the Download Option:
Look for a "Download" button or icon. This is often represented by:
- A downward arrow icon (⬇️) indicating "download".
- A share icon (share) indicating "share or export".
This button may be located:
- Directly on the main report view screen, usually in the header or footer toolbar.
- Within an "Options" menu, which is typically accessed via a three-dot "More" icon in the header.
3. Tap Download:
Tap the download button or icon.
4. Choose Format (if applicable):
If prompted, select the desired file format.
- PDF is the most common format for inspection reports, offering good compatibility and formatting.
5. Sharing/Saving:
After initiating the download, your device's standard share sheet or file saving dialog will appear.
Share:
You can share the report via:
- Email applications
- Messaging apps (e.g., SMS, WhatsApp)
- Cloud storage services (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive)
- Other compatible apps installed on your device
Save to Device:
- You can save the report file directly to your device's local storage.
- The file is typically saved to a default location (e.g., "Downloads" folder) or you may be able to choose a destination folder.
