Downloading the Report

Once you have finalised your inspection report by reviewing and editing its contents (Viewing the Report and Editing the Report), you can download it as a file for sharing or archiving.

Steps to Download

1. Navigate to the Report:

Open the specific report you wish to download within the SwiftReporter app.

2. Locate the Download Option:

Look for a "Download" button or icon. This is often represented by:

- A downward arrow icon (⬇️) indicating "download".
- A share icon (share) indicating "share or export".

This button may be located:

- Directly on the main report view screen, usually in the header or footer toolbar.
- Within an "Options" menu, which is typically accessed via a three-dot "More" icon in the header.

3. Tap Download:

Tap the download button or icon.

4.  Choose Format (if applicable):

If prompted, select the desired file format.

- PDF is the most common format for inspection reports, offering good compatibility and formatting.

5. Sharing/Saving:

After initiating the download, your device's standard share sheet or file saving dialog will appear.

Share:

You can share the report via:

- Email applications
- Messaging apps (e.g., SMS, WhatsApp)
- Cloud storage services (e.g., Google Drive, Dropbox, iCloud Drive)
- Other compatible apps installed on your device

Save to Device:

- You can save the report file directly to your device's local storage.
- The file is typically saved to a default location (e.g., "Downloads" folder) or you may be able to choose a destination folder.

Note:

The exact appearance and location of the download button, format selection, and sharing/saving options can vary slightly depending on:

- Your mobile operating system (iOS or Android)>
- The specific version of the SwiftReporter app>
- Your device's settings
