If you scroll to the bottom of our website, you will notice two things missing.

1.  You won't see a "Certified by \[Association Name\]" logo.
2.  You won't see a press release about our "$10 Million Series A Funding."

That is by design. We are **Radically Independent.**

## The Problem with Venture Capital (VC)

When a software company takes millions from investors, they stop working for _you_. They start working for the _investors_.

- **The Growth Trap:** Investors demand 10x growth. To get that, the software company has to build generic features to attract "everybody."
- **The Price Hike:** Once they hook you, the investors demand higher returns. That’s when your $69/mo plan becomes $129/mo.

## The Problem with Association Ownership

When an association owns the software, they prioritize **Compliance** over **Speed**.

- They want to ensure you check every box to reduce liability.
- We want to ensure you finish the report so you can get home to your family.
- **Conflict of Interest:** We believe your client data shouldn't be owned by the people who police your license.

## The Independent Advantage

We are bootstrapped. We have low overhead because we utilize the **Specialist Stack** (Swift + Square).We don't need to extract maximum profit to please a board of directors. We just need to build a great tool for the 1,000 best inspectors in the world.
